The Ultra Spill Deck Flexible is engineered for facilities that need reliable containment without the bulk associated with traditional hard walled containment. Standard containment units are large because they must provide enough sump capacity for a fifty five gallon drum in order to support regulatory compliance. The size and rigidity of those systems make shipping and storage more difficult for operations that manage limited space. The Ultra-Spill Deck Flexible reduces shipping costs and storage space while maintaining the same containment performance once assembled.
This design replaces the rigid polyethylene sump found in standard Ultra Spill Decks with a durable PVC fabric sump. The flexible sump material significantly reduces the unassembled footprint and allows the components to be stored or shipped in a compact form. The PVC fabric is a heavy duty 18 oz. construction that resists wear during routine handling and folds or rolls easily when the containment is not in use. Once assembled, the deck functions the same as a fixed wall spill deck. Drums sit on a polyethylene grate, and any incidental leakage drains directly into the PVC sump for controlled containment.
Facilities can place decks individually or connect sections using optional bulkhead fittings to create larger containment zones for multi drum storage or process work areas. Models with the integrated bladder system (CV1360, CV1361 and CV1362) include a sixty six gallon expansion bladder that deploys when the sump reaches capacity during a major spill event, increasing protection without requiring manual intervention.
