The Pneumatic Oil Filter Crusher is manufactured to be used with an optional Oil Filter Crusher Stand with Reservoir (WO7550BJ) or Crusher Stand that accommodates 55 gallon drums (WO10602BJ).

  • Reduces filters by 75% of original size, and removes 95% of the free-flowing oil so it can be recycled.
  • Large crushing chamber: accepts filters up to 16" tall x 9" diameter.
  • Only one moving part, a 2" shaft.

Easy Installation

  1. Bolt crusher stand with vibration pads to the floor. Tighten bolts firmly, approximately 1 to 2 turns past hand tight – do not overtighten.
  2. Place crusher on stand.
  3. Bolt crusher to stand using four 1/2" x 2" bolts, 1/2" nuts, and 1/2" locking washers (provided). Tighten firmly, approximately 1 to 2 turns past hand tight – do not overtighten.
  4. Connect drain hose and adaptor to the bottom of the crusher – tighten firmly, approximately 1 to 2 turns past hand tight.
  5. Place waste oil recovery drum underneath crusher stand.
  6. Connect air hose to shop air using a quick coupler or union

Operation Instructions

NEVER ATTEMPT TO OPERATE CRUSHER WITH DOOR OPEN
NOTE: Recommended air pressure = 140 – 175 PSI (9.6 – 12 bar.)

  1. Open crusher door.
  2. Place filter (open end face down) in the center of the crushing chamber.
  3. Close crusher door.
  4. Pull handle down on ball valve.
  5. Wait for crusher to complete the crushing cycle.
  6. Push handle up on ball valve.
  7. Open crusher door.
  8. Confirm crusher ram has fully retracted.
  9. Remove crushed filter.
